Teriyaki Steak

1 package of thinly sliced steak, you can use any steak I just prefer thin it cooks faster and seems to hold the flavor more
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce or shoyu sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
2 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
5 garlic cloves smashed
1 red onion chopped, quartering is fine
1 gallon sized bag

Put everything but the steaks into the gallon bag. Swish it around until well mixed. Add the steaks. Let marinate at least 30-40 min longer the better. You can cook in the sauce in a roasting pan, in a frying pan, on the grill or on a broiler pan with liquid smoke and 1 1/2 cup water in the bottom. On the grill with the thin cut they are done about 4 min on either side, longer if you want it with crispy edges. In the roasting pan 350* for 30-45 min. And on the broiler 350* for about 30 min or until nicely browned all over.
