Some busy things in my life....

Way to many things to do! I have been working on the teriyaki recipes, which I have them they aren't a new recipe to me but as anyone who knows me knows that I don't measure much. So I have to go over my recipes and measure them out. My recipes consist of a list of things I throw into a bowl to create a meal, no numbers so I have to remake them and measure until its to the taste that I am looking for. Last night I took pictures to post, only to find that my husband to the cord that hooks my camera to my computer, so I have to use one computer to send to my computer to them use the program that I use to edit my pictures and then to post them, this is what I mean, very little things turn to big things in my house.

Baked Banana Desert

3 bananas
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons butter

As you can see its about a single tablespoon of the butter and brown sugar per each banana, so keep that in mind if you want to make more servings of this. The bananas cooked like this are wonderful just as they are or on top of yogurt, ice cream, frozen yogurt or with a drissle of Nutella over them. Oh and homemade whipped cream and powdered sugar. Just really depends on how much sweetness you are looking for.

Fresh Green Beans

This is wonderful with the sockeye salmon. My kids love these beans it is my daughters favorite way to eat them.
2 cups of fresh cut green beans (cut to about 1 1/2 inch pieces)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, I prefer to grate myself there's a fresher taste
1/4 cup Pecorino romano cheese, again I grate it
5 cloves of garlic

Sockeye Salmon

 3 cuts of sockeye salmon
5 tablespoons of butter
salt

Baby "Bread Pudding"

1 banana
1 Gerber banana yogurt
1/2 bagel

Chop the banana into bite size pieces. Place in a small bowl and break apart the bread into baby bite size pieces as well, add the yogurt and toss it. I call this bread pudding because thats what it reminds me of but there is no added sugar and yogurt instead of pudding, my son loves this!
You can also use different flavors of yogurt and your child's favorite fruit. This is just what I had on hand and whipped up for breakfast.

More

There is still more Teriyaki Recipes coming from the list that I created. But in the meantime I came up with a few extra recipes. I also messed up cookies for the first time ever, and they were still good, tasted like a flaky chocolate chip biscuit. Different but yummy, that's what happens when you try to bust out a recipe at 3am before your husband leaves!
