So I came up with this tonight while going through the fridge. It was originally going to be a teriyaki stir fry and I kept changing my mind through the process and this is what happened.
1/4 cabbage fine chopped
1 red bell pepper
1/2 red onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup cut fresh green beans
5 tomatoes
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons soy sauce
5 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1/2 package of wheat noodles
Blend the 5 tomatoes in a food processor or blender until its very watery. Chop all vegetables into bite size pieces or smaller. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter with 1 tablespoon olive oil add all of the vegetables except for the blended tomatoes. Put the noodles in a boiling pot of salted water. Cook until the cabbage, onions and green beans are soft, but not mushy. Add the soy and teriyaki sauce. Let simmer for 5 minutes, add the blended tomatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes. Take the noodles and put them in the sauce mix, even if the noodles aren't done yet, let them finish cooking in the sauce. Top with your favorite cheese, salt and pepper. I used pecorino romano.
