1 tablespoon of yeast
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons of melted butter
4-5 cups flour
In a large bowl pour in the hot water and the yeast, let it sit for 10 minutes. Add in the sugar, milk and melted butter mix well. Slowly add in the flour until it binds together and is a little sticky. Flour a flat surface lightly. Roll out and knead 6 times. Grease, spray or butter the inside of the large bowl and put a little on the ball of dough. Let rise for 1 hr, punch down the dough, lightly flour hands and grab small handfuls of the dough and work lightly with your hand to form a ball. Rub a small amount of oil on a cookie sheet and put the balls of dough on it about 2-3 inches apart. Cook at 350* for about 15 min, when they start to brown on the top, baste a little butter on the top just before done. Use to clean up those thanksgiving plates!
